About me
Hey, I’m Sarah — the heart behind Blissfully Bronzed.
I’m a wife, a mama of two, and the proud owner of a studio built on confidence, connection, and a little extra glow. What started as a simple love for a sun-kissed tan (because let’s be honest—sometimes the glow is the self-care) has grown into something much deeper.
Blissfully Bronzed is a space where all bodies are celebrated—every size, shape, and shade. I believe confidence isn’t about changing yourself; it’s about honoring who you already are. My goal is for every client to leave feeling seen, supported, and radiant from the inside out.
When I’m not in the studio or soaking up time with my kids, you’ll find me embracing cozy homebody vibes, moving my body at the gym, or leaning into moments that refill my cup. This business is an extension of my journey—rooted in positivity, self-love, and creating an experience that feels just as good as it looks.
I can’t wait to welcome you into the Blissfully Bronzed space!
The Bliss Behind Blissfully Bronzed
After having kids, I realized how hard it is to find yourself again. Your body changes, your skin and hair are different, and honestly, taking care of yourself falls to the bottom of the priority list. I remember right after my first born baby, I barely had time to shower, let alone do my hair or makeup.
I remember thinking, "This is the new me, get use to it," but at the same time, I knew I needed something that would bring a little spark back into my life. I had just come home from the hospital, and in the chaos of new motherhood, I looked at my reflection, stared at my new stomach and thought—“Damn, I’m pale!” So, I handed the baby to my husband and said, “I’ll be right back.” And yep, you guessed it—I put on self-tanner the same day I came home from the hospital. It might sound crazy, but it was my way of doing something for myself, of feeling like I was still “me,” even if just for a moment.
No, it didn’t fix my tired eyes or my grown-out roots, but it did something even more powerful—it made me feel alive again. It gave me a little confidence boost in the middle of exhaustion, I felt like I was glowing—even if I was still in a mumu! It was one of those moments where, though everything else was out of my control, I could still take care of myself in a small way.
That experience was life-changing. It was the turning point for me, where I realized how much of an impact something as simple as a spray tan could have. It wasn’t just about looking good; it was about feeling good, about giving myself a little grace and a moment of self-care. And that’s why I started Blissfully Bronzed. Because I believe in what spray tanning does—not just for our skin, but for our souls.
I believe in no judgment, no perfection, and embracing who you are—flaws and all. We all have our insecurities, but we also all have the power to feel our best, no matter where we are in life. That’s what Blissfully Bronzed is all about: making sure everyone who walks through my door leaves feeling better, more confident, and like their best self. Because when you feel good about yourself, it makes everything else a little easier. You’re a better partner, a better parent, and ultimately, a better you.
Why I Care So Much About the Details
As someone who has been plus-sized my whole life and has struggled with sensitive skin and acne, I know how vulnerable it can feel to put yourself out there — physically and emotionally. That lived experience is why I’m deeply intentional about every detail of what I offer, from the products I use to the way each service is delivered. I thoughtfully choose high-quality formulas and techniques designed to be gentle, effective, and supportive of real people with real concerns.
At Blissfully Bronzed, all bodies are welcome — no judgment, no pressure, no perfection required. Whether you’re here for your first visit or your fiftieth, my goal is for you to feel confident, cared for, and fully yourself — from your skin to your smile. This is a safe space, and I truly mean that from the heart.
